Água Branca Park

A área verde convida a um passeio.

The green area invites walking.

Created in 1929 for animal exhibitions, the park is almost 137 square meters wide and looks like a farm with loose chickens and ducks, a horseback riding arena, and an organic products market. Besides the pleasant narrow paths where visitors can take walks, the lakes and playgrounds, Água Branca Park is also home to attractions such as the Geological Museum, the Aquarium and Casa do Caboclo, a restaurant where one can try food cooked in a wooden oven, while listening to moda de viola (traditional countryside music, played on acoustic guitar), during some days of the week. The park offers horseback-riding classes and many outdoor activities, some specific for elderly.
